Synopsis: The story happened somewhere in the middle part of Hebei Province in 1942 when the Japanese invaders had occupied parts of China.One day,a Japanese soldier (Yoshino) and a Chinese traitor (Second Dog) were chasing an eighth route army soldier and they found a hen in a corn field.In trying to capture it,they all fell into a deep pit the villagers had dug.The pit was so high and steep that they wouldn't get rescued without outside help so they tried their best to save themselves...
